What is the conductivity of electricity? (EC)
An EC meter measures how much chance it is for an electric current to move through the water. This is called “electrolytic conductivity” or “molar conductivity,” and it is measured in siemens (S).
Electrons can move from one set of electrodes to another through the water. This is not because of the water molecules themselves but because of the dissolved ions in the water. Electrons are moved around by these ions.
